What you're paying for

Honestly? Mostly attention. I shoot photos the way I shoot film. I look at the light first, then the people, then I wait. Engagement session, brand shoot, a house that needs to sell, it's the same process.

Why hire a photographer at all?

Fair question. Everyone has a camera in their pocket now, and phones are good. What a phone won't do is decide where to stand, when to wait, or what to leave out of the frame. That's the part you're hiring.

How I got into this

It started in 2017, flying back and forth between Chicago and Miami. Same skyline every trip, never the same light. That's when I figured out it isn't the location, it's the light.
A year later, after a trip to San Francisco, I bought a Canon Rebel T6i off Craigslist and shot everything. Birds, skylines, construction sites, strangers. My first paid job was a $100 event and the client hated every photo. Instead of quitting, I got better.
Then a guy at the Apple Store on Lincoln Road showed me a DJI Mavic Pro and I was hooked on drones. A babymoon in Oia, Santorini showed me how different light looks somewhere else. Somewhere between Chicago winters and Hollywood sunsets, it stopped being a hobby.

I look at the light before I touch a setting. No preset slapped on afterwards.

I spent years telling people to relax before I noticed it never works. So I stopped saying it.

Usually me. On bigger jobs I bring a crew I trust, but I direct it and every photo comes back through me.

Questions people ask before a shoot

Do you only shoot in South Florida?

Hollywood, Miami, and Fort Lauderdale are home base, but I travel for the right project.

What kinds of photography do you shoot?

Weddings, portraits, events, real estate, products, food, travel, and aerial. See the full range in the photo portfolio.

Do you offer drone or aerial photography?

Yes. Aerial photography has been part of the work since I bought my first drone, and it is available for real estate, events, and travel projects where the shot calls for it.

How involved are you personally?

I direct and shoot every project personally, sometimes alongside a trusted photographer or assistant when a project calls for a larger team.

How is this different from booking a portfolio session?

The photo portfolio is where finished work lives. This page is where a project actually starts: the conversation about what a shoot needs, the pricing, and what working with me looks like day of.

Can I book photography and video together?

Yes. Many clients book both, since I shoot and direct each personally. It often means one shoot day covers what would otherwise take two separate bookings.

Can you work with my budget?

Usually, yes. There are two ways to build a project. The first has me behind the camera, which is the scarcer and costlier of the two, because there are only so many shoot days in a year. The second puts a vetted crew on the ground, directed and edited by me, so you are still talking to one person and the work still comes back through one pair of hands. Put the budget in your first message and you will get a straight answer about which one fits.
