Tzivos Hashem flew Shimmy Weinbaum in from New York, and he arrived at the school by helicopter. There is no second take on a landing. Either the camera is in the right place when it comes down, or the moment is gone and everyone in the yard saw it except the film.

The Lubavitch Educational Center has been ongoing since 2023: dinner films, honoree films, a music video with more than 1,200 of its students, and the coverage a school that size needs. Those films premiere at the annual dinner, in front of the people they are about. A room that already knows the story is harder to hold than a room that does not, and that changes how the film has to be built. Filming inside a working school also means shooting around the day rather than through it, so what ends up on screen is what was actually happening rather than a version staged for the camera.
