20 Years of Chabad of South Beach – A Story of Heart and Impact

When I was asked to create a film celebrating 20 years of Chabad of South Beach, I quickly realized this wasn’t just a project — it was a chance to capture something truly special. From the very beginning, what stood out to me wasn’t only the milestones or achievements, but the genuine warmth, kindness, and purity that radiated from Rabbi & Mrs. Mann and the res and the entire team.

As I spent time with the community, I was struck by the beautiful atmosphere they’ve built — a space filled with heart, authenticity, and a deep sense of care for every individual who walks through their doors. Through interviews, archival footage, b-roll and new visuals, I worked hard to meticulously weave together a film that not only looks back on two decades of growth and impact, but also celebrates the spirit that makes Chabad of South Beach so unique.

This film is more than a story — it’s a tribute to a community built on compassion, vision, and unwavering dedication. It was an honor to help tell their story and share a glimpse of the warmth and light that will continue to shine for many years to come.

 The Chabad of South Beach 2025 Gala Film showcases the community’s progress and achievements over the years. This cinematic presentation encapsulates the essence of unity, faith, and service that define the Chabad’s mission. I approached the project with a clear goal: to create something cinematic, heartfelt, and true to who they are. From pre-production planning to filming and editing, every part of the process was designed to showcase not just their history, but the real warmth, kindness, and sincerity that define the community. As we went through each interviewee, I was searching and probing for good nuggets that would round out and tell the story as robustly as possible. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin’s energy and dedication really took shape in my mind just watching them interact with their community members and just do what they do,  and together, we created a powerful and moving film that i am immensely proud of.

It was an honor to produce a piece that captures the heart of Chabad of South Beach — a story of growth, connection, and authentic leadership — and to celebrate a community whose impact will continue for generations.
