Young Stars Showcase 2023 – Gulfstream Park
The annual Young Stars Showcase (YSS), created by the Aventura Marketing Council / Chamber of Commerce in 2010, has become their signature event to benefit the AMC Education Foundation. Each year, the showcase highlights extraordinary young singers from across South Florida — many of whom are already on their way to stardom.
In 2023, I had the privilege of filming this incredible event with my team at the Sport of Kings Theater at Gulfstream Park. We captured the performances from multiple angles, bringing together sweeping stage views, intimate close-ups, and audience energy to create a highlight film that reflects the talent and excitement of the night.
The Young Stars Showcase is more than just a concert — it’s a celebration of community, creativity, and the future of music. It was an honor to contribute to that vision and to help preserve such a special evening through film.
One especially meaningful moment was when I was able to bring my client and friend, Diana Pombo (Lady D), onto the Young Stars Showcase stage. Diana came with her family and performed her single “Wait” — a song you can also see in the Music Video section of my site. Watching her perform live, in front of such an enthusiastic audience, was something truly special. Having built a warm relationship with Diana over time, it was powerful to see her artistry shine in that setting, and it reminded me why I love doing this work: helping artists share their gifts with the world.

Collaborating with Ran Oz – CooLAM Productions & Youngstar Showcase 2023
One of the highlights of my work has been collaborating with Ran Oz of CooLAM Productions, who first brought me on to film the Young Stars Showcase concerts. Together, we’ve captured not just one but two of these incredible productions, along with many other projects over the years. Ran has a remarkable gift for producing large-scale entertainment and marketing events, and working alongside him has been both inspiring and rewarding. Our partnership has grown beyond just professional collaboration — it’s evolved into a warm friendship built on mutual respect, trust, and creativity.
Filming for CooLAM Productions has allowed me to combine my cinematic approach with Ran’s vision for high-energy, engaging events. Every project we’ve tackled together has been an opportunity to push the boundaries of storytelling, showcase extraordinary talent, and deliver content that connects with audiences on every level.
